Nail Art

Hello everyone! 

So I have had my gel on for the past three weeks and I decided today was the day it was going to come off! Celebrating summer and my love of fruit I decided to do a super cute watermelon print! So here is my tutorial about how to do it! Hope you all find it helpful and try it one day!

So this is the first color I used by Sally Hansen, this is a cheap but good brand I have found. This pink is very pretty BTW!

So I started by taping of my first sections because there are three parts to the complete nail. I use regular scotch tape nothing special

Not always perfect, but it gives you a nicer line. When I do cute patterns on my nails that involve detail I always have a small brush and some nail polish remover near by to do touch ups.

See the line is a lot cleaner because I used the little clean up brush ( I usually fix my cuticles that have paint on them after I have finished the entire nail and applied a top coat.

Section two, after the pink is 95% dry move on to the white. Remember that section is a lot thinner than the pink and green. OH and I used some cheap white that I have had forever...

Section three, add green for the rind I used 17- Ivy League

The final touch is the cute little seeds!!! I don't know about you but I love my nails I think they are so cute!

Minnesota fUn!

So today was my cousins graduation party! It was so fun (a lot of misquotes D: yuck!) I just wanted to share with you some of the fun things we did today!

My cousin and I, when we were little you could see the resemblance! Love her to pieces, she has a great future in beauty!

 Ok so here is our fun activity after most of the people left! We found sparklers, flashlights, and a camera; recruited my Aunt and this is what we created!

So I got home this past Friday from Hawaii and am now in Minnesota (sorry about the lateness of my post but still wanted you all to see my trip!) So I went to Maui June 2 with most of my graduating class which was really fun, we had four chaperones who were awesome and did so much fun stuff! If you haven't been to Hawaii, you need to go, for all you beach lovers you wont want to go home...

So we stayed at the Sheraton in Maui which was absolutely beautiful, there is the legendary black rock in the background and then this gorgeous pool went around most of the hotel which was fun! 

Piña Colada after a nice snorkel sesh in the bay here, it was like 15 minutes away from the hotel and had a beautiful beach but the coral was really... meh... but it had a good area for about 15 of us girls to tan so that was a fun sight! ;)

This was on our way up to Hana, I didn't take many pictures because my phone died, but once we got to the top I got out my water camera for the seven sacred pool so when I develop those I'll be sure to share!

So I am sorry for those of you who don't like lizards but I really do so the geckos which are everywhere on the island were so cute, I don't remember exactly how it happened but this little guy ended up on my head he was so cute!

The blow hole! OH SO FUN! I am still trying to get my friends to send me all the pictures because it was so fun we all stood in front of it and just waited to get doused by the spray!

Our first leg stretch on the way up to Hana, I love this pic because you can see my awesome henna and also because we were looking for adventure! 

"Eat your heart out! Eating my first raw Maui coconut on the way down from Hana, we stopped at this cute little organic farm shack and got some yummy treats! (still acquiring the taste for coconut and its texture!)

Going out for our last meal in Maui, sad but fun night of eating and shopping and just taking in the sunset! (wore my grad dress because it was fun)

On our way back to Cali... Maui had to shoot me in the heart one last time with this gorgeous view, I mean how can you resist that!? AHHH!

Graduation Look

So yes it is a week late because I got caught up with Grad party (my next post) and then leaving for Maui, Hawaii! I wanted to share my Graduation look with you just for fun! I hope you can find it helpful! Leave any comments or questions below

So I went and got my makeup done at Mac because for $50 you get new makeup and they do it for you, so it is a good deal if you need new makeup and want to save a little money!

So here is my dress, I got it at this cute boutique in Ventura called Heavenly Courtier  which sells everything for $16!!! LET THAT SOAK IN! This cute dress was $16 ;D

So my shoes are 5 inch wedges with a crochet top and I got them at Styles for Less in Canyon Country for like $20 or something like that, I like them lol

So for my hair I just did simple curls to go under my cap!

My best friend and I, her dress is from Guess and makeup is by Mac too! We are Twinziezs

Oh and lastly I got a fun gel manicure which has lasted me through Hawaii so I highly recommend gel!

So the next three days are going to be super crazy for me, I have graduation tomorrow, then my graduation party saturday, and greatest of all I leave for Hawaii on Sunday! I am so excited you have no idea, so today I had to pack and I thought I would share with you my packing technique (there really is no method to my madness but I tried! LOL) and some of my clothes! So let us begin!

I started off with some energy because I have been awfully tired lately!

     As I am going to Hawaii I knew I would only need dresses, shorts, t shirts, and bikinis so packing has been fairly simple! I started off with washing all my laundry so I could see all of what I had in my closet and wouldn't feel tempted to buy more of what I already have.

keeping them in my closet just to help them not wrinkle

Ok here are all the goods I am bringing makeup, teeth whitener,  body spray and lotion,  after sun, face mist, shampoo conditioner and soap, cooling Alo, Maui Babe and After Babe, Beach babe spray(I skipped the Hawaiian tropic for this trip....)

I only brought one sweater because its hawaii, plus two pairs of yoga pants and t shirts for sleeping, and lastly on the right I brought my two bags!!

Good afternoon everyone! It sure has been a lovely day today here in Santa Clarita!

So today I want to talk about Pinterest! This is one of my biggest weaknesses, I just love everything about it. It was through the site that I was able to really nail my style, land a great "job", and find out what pictures and art I really enjoy. Pinterest is such a fun way to connect with others keep up on the style and pass your pictures around, plus there are many opportunities to connect with companies because most have boards and look for people to connect with!
